This is going to be a pretty pointless post so don’t even bother reading the rest of it. My blog is just another outlet for bitching, whining and complaining - (the stuff people would rather not choose to sit and listen through) in order to de-stress myself from every annoying thing that’s been happening around me. I guess that’s one good thing about having a low-profile blog – I can say whatever I want, whenever I want.

Anyhoots. They finally posted up my [temporary] timetable today, which is going to be nothing but useless to me in 3 days since it only applies to this week’s classes. Apparently I had class yesterday which I didn’t know about. Bastards man, I swear down. And along with my first week sched, I received this rather quite annoying email:

Nabilah,

Apologies for any delay and confusion.

Unfortunately,International Financial Management was scheduled for yesterday (Monday) - but due to the fact that the timetable was not posted, you probably missed the session.

Annoying much? Like, no shizzle, Sherlock! I’ve got 1-5pm lectures tomorrow which is pretty disgusting (how do you survive sitting through two lectures without falling asleep?) but then again, I can’t complain much considering the fact that while everyone’s been going to uni like any normal student should, I’ve been bumming around like a jobless bum, and lemme tell you - even though I know I’ll be kicking myself in the ass for saying this in about a month or so - I’ve never experienced boredom to this extreme (hence the super lengthy post!). I’ve finished my Sex and the City box set, I’ve downloaded and watched all series of The City (notice the recurring theme here… I miss NYC – SNIFF!!!), and I’m halfway through the third sequel to Stephenie Meyer’s saga of vampire romance, titled Eclipse. Yeah I figured I’d jump right into book 3 since I was already feeling behind, not having read or watched Twilight and all, plus book 2, New Moon, wasn’t available at the store. Eclipse is a great read and it’s kept me well occupied! I’ve never seen the movie, but Edward oh Edward, what a beautiful mental illustration I have of you ;).

I’ve been trying to grab tickets to the Girls Aloud concert (I don’t care which city in the UK, just please, let there be availability somewhere!) but they’ve been selling like hot cakes and are sold out almost everywhere. And do not judge. They are great singers performers and going to a GA concert is on my British-things-to-do-before-I-leave-UK-for-good list that I will need to cross out.

On a much happier note, my birthday month is coming up! I already know what I want, but A pointed out that I have a whole month to go before I turn 22, so… here’s another pointless paragraph. I’ll just save my excitement for another day. Not that I’m looking forward to turning 22 or anything. Okay, chattin breeze. Doodoodoo.

I think I’m done complaining :D

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!!! Will be celebrating on 1st Feb at ChinaTown, so I'll be sure to post up pics then. No pics today, I’m se-se-se-sorreh ;)

xoxo,
E
